I am Diane. My husband and I have lived a good life raising 5 good kids and 20 foster kids. Jim has just been diagnosed with Lewy Bodies Dementia and we are planning for our future. Our kids are helping but have limited resources as they also have kids and obligations.

We just need this money to pay off two bills (taxes and an auto repair bill) and we will be able to stay at our rented little farm in the San Diego area. We have pared our expenses down to living expenses, food, and gasoline. We get food from food banks and have a large vegetable garden.

We have been “on watch” for our family and community for many, many years and are still doing all we can for our spiritual, civic, and Native American community.

I have never asked anyone for money before, not family or friends.
