Hey everyone Jim needs our help again. Through no fault of his own, him and Bear are going to be homeless again as of this weekend. The apartment we got him in back in 2019 was sold (to an out-of-state investor) and they are basically kicking everyone out so they can remodel and double the rent.

He does get $1,000 a month SS but that doesn't go far. I have contacted every low income/subsidized place I could find and they all have a waiting list. He is filling out applications but in the meantime they are going to be living in his car ( which is on its last leg). He's 74 years old and just wants a place to call home.

I would like to get them a motel through at least February. He will be contributing himself as well but he also needs to save for a deposit since the new owner can't seem to find that he had a deposit with the previous owner even though I was there and handed it over myself.

Can anyone help? Every dollar helps!
