In loving memory of our mom, Jill Nighswonger, we invite you to join us in continuing a legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Jill faithfully supported Tumaini International, a remarkable nonprofit organization serving children orphaned by AIDS in Kenya. Her heart was especially connected to a blind woman named Janet and her family. Over the past 15+ years, Jill made it her mission to support Janet, raising funds to send her to a school for the blind, where Janet thrived and built a brighter future. Jill didn’t stop there, she made sure Janet’s daughter, Anette, could receive an education as well. Anette recently graduated high school, a beautiful testament to the impact of Jill’s love and perseverance.

Now, we have the opportunity to continue that legacy. Janet’s son, Victor, has four years left of high school. To honor Jill’s life and in lieu of flowers, we are raising $1,824 to cover his school fees. Any additional funds will go toward other urgent needs supported by Tumaini International, just as Jill would have wanted.

This is more than a fundraiser. It is a continuation of Jill’s heart, her hope, and her desire to see others flourish.
