Support Jill’s Journey to Recovery

We are raising money to help my mother-in-law, Jill Rasmussen, with medical expenses after suffering a massive stroke.
Sunday morning (4/7), Jill was found unresponsive by her boyfriend Todd. She was rushed to the hospital and, from there, into emergency surgery to remove a large clot in the left side of her brain. While the surgery was a success, unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Her family was told by the medical staff that it was likely Jill would never talk or comprehend again. Her chances of survival were slim, and she would likely be bedridden. After a grueling week, Jill has defied the odds and not only survived through this critical period but has already shown incredible progress. Jill and her family have a LONG and expensive road ahead of them. Jill is single, lives alone and provides for herself. To help alleviate medical costs, we’re starting this GoFundMe to allow Jill and her family to focus on her improvement and rehab.
For those of you who do not know Jill personally or closely, I’d love to paint you a picture of the incredible woman she is. By the age of 25, Jill had three children, a home, and a thriving career. Jill is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, sales consultant, transformational coach, and self-actualization expert with over twenty years of professional experience. Jill is just 55 and has so much life left ahead of her. You would never expect life to throw such a curve ball at someone so young. Jill has 5 grandchildren who are her absolute world. “Family over everything,” is how Jill has lived her entire life.
