Support Jillian's Recovery After Accident
Donation protected
On Wednesday, 11-06-2024, beloved Ketchikan elementary music teacher Jillian Pollock was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which her vehicle was struck by a distracted teen driver on the highway. She was transported to the ER by medical staff, suffering a broken nose in several places and a severely sprained ankle.
While she is home mending her ankle, the injuries to her face need to be examined by an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist as quickly as possible to avoid any possible long-term damage.
The traveling ENT specialist doesn’t come to Ketchikan until March. Therefore, Jillian needs to travel to Anchorage where she can receive the appropriate medical care in a more timely manner.
We are reaching out to our incredibly supportive and generous community to ask for any assistance for travel and these unexpected medical costs.
We are so grateful that this accident wasn’t worse but also need to act quickly so this isn’t something that causes her unnecessary long-term damage by waiting to get seen.
There is no donation too small—every bit helps, and we are grateful for the support.
