Help My Niece Rebuild After Losing Everything Twice to Hurricanes
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
My name is Diana Mitchell, and I have started a GoFundMe account to raise money for my niece, Jillian. I’m reaching out to ask for help for my niece, who has shown remarkable strength in the face of unimaginable hardship. In just two years, she has lost everything not once but twice due to devastating hurricanes. After each storm, she had to start over, working to rebuild her life and regain a sense of stability.
Despite these hardships, she achieved something inspiring—she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences. She currently works as an Avian Hospital technician/keeper and has been passionate about caring for animals her entire life. However, as she now faces the monumental task of starting over, she is also responsible for caring for several cats and kittens. They, too, have been displaced by these storms, adding to the urgency of her need for stability.
However, life has continued to throw obstacles her way. In addition to losing her place of residence and belongings, she was recently involved in a car accident, which totaled her vehicle. She now faces the overwhelming task of starting over again, rebuilding her home, finding transportation, and caring for her cats.
This fundraiser is to help her:
*Secure temporary housing for herself and her pets
*Rebuild and replace essential belongings
*Provide care and supplies for her cats and kittens
*Find a new vehicle to replace the one she lost in the accident
Your support will go directly toward helping her recover from these challenges and rebuild her life. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this page with others is just as valuable.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help her get back on her feet and rebuild after so much loss.
