Jillian and Russ Sorin are not only our friends and coworkers, but also dedicated Waltham High School teachers, parents to past and future Waltham students, small business owners, and truly amazing members of our community. They have always been the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, showing kindness and generosity to everyone around them. Now, they are facing an unimaginable challenge after their family home caught on fire, and they are left to pick up the pieces. Their beloved dog, Teegan, was also in the house during the fire and is now in need of urgent veterinary care.
At first, Jillian and Russ were reluctant to accept the community's support, but with the overwhelming number of people seeking ways to help, this seemed like the most streamlined way to financially help them.
The funds raised through this campaign will help Jillian and Russ begin to replace all that was lost in the fire, cover the unexpected vet bills for their dog Teegan, and start the long process of rebuilding their life and home. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as they work to recover from this tragedy.
Jillian and Russ have always been there for others, and I know our community will come together to support them now when they need it most. Please consider donating and/or sharing this fundraiser to help them get back on their feet. Your kindness and support will mean the world to them as they begin to rebuild.
