Good day, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

I'm reaching out to request your help for one of our dear Hawks, Jill Rattinger. Many of you may know her as the ELA teacher at Hilburn's Middle School. Others may recognize her as a demanding but kind-hearted teacher who gives her all.

Over spring break, Jill fell ill and had to undergo emergency surgery. She was released over the weekend and is now recovering at home. Unfortunately, Jill has no family here in North Carolina, and she lives in Raleigh with her son, whom she cares for.

Jill will be out of work for some time as she recovers. If we can come together to provide her with financial assistance, it would go a long way in making her recovery more comfortable and fulfilling.
