Support Jill, Joe, and Griswold's Recovery
Donation protected
The night of Dec 7, Jill & Joe were forced to leave their apartment as the building was on fire. Luckily, the fire didn’t reach their apartment; unluckily, the Fire Department needed to vent the roof through their apartment. They have no actual fire damage, but the apartment is uninhabitable and there is smoke and/or water damage to everything.
Many have offered assistance and to be completely honest, the greatest need is financial. They will need to find new housing and finance that as well as the move, have many items cleaned professionally, many items replaced, and numerous other expenses (meals, clothing needs, missed work, etc.) that will add up quickly.
I know it’s the holidays, I know many are just getting by themselves, and I know times are tough all over - but even the smallest donations will help, it all adds up, and it can add up quickly if anyone reading this will then share this GoFundMe to help others see it. Honestly, if everyone gave up the $10 for one coffee & a bagel and donated that to this fund, it will help more than you can ever know.
Please donate what you can, if you are able to afford to do so.
Please post this on your own Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat.
Please tell others without social media about this and how they can donate.
Coming up, we will offer other donation options if you are unable to donate online.
We are grateful that Joe, Jill, and their kitty Griswold were all unharmed, and we are grateful for any donations and sharing of this fundraiser to help them get through this.
