Support Jill Hazelet's Children After Her Passing

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm raising money for Jill Hazelet's children and family.

On August 21st, Jill Hazelet unexpectedly passed away after complications from surgery. She left behind two amazing children who are left under the care of their grandma, Gail Byreiter-Hazelet. Grandma is trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for the benefit of her children.

Jill's daughter, Olivia, is a fifth grader this year who is extremely involved in dance, Girl Scouts, band, chorus, and music lessons. She's very active at school with intramurals, running club, and everything in between. She and her mom had plans to do so many of these together during this school year. She has been in the same school since preschool, and Grandma is very concerned about keeping her in a familiar environment.

Unfortunately, the family is left without a vehicle to transport Olivia to and from her various events and before-school activities.

Jill's son, Ashton, is 20 years old and has many medical issues that require his grandmother to act as a caregiver and support person. Ashton is autistic and has spina bifida, McCune-Albright syndrome, and other conditions that affect his day-to-day life.

Grandma is trying to keep the family together in the home that they have all shared together for the past 16 years. Unfortunately, they no longer have Jill's income to pay the other half of the household expenses.

With your help, we can try to keep things as normal as possible for Jill's children. They were the light of her life and what kept her going with all of the serious medical issues she was going through for the past 20 years. You would never have known how she was suffering because she always did whatever was required to care for her children.
