I’m a close friend of Jill and Terry Bernard. If you are receiving this information, you , too are one of the fortunate people to have been touched by their loving care and kindness at some point in your life. A lot of people have now heard, yet some may not know that Jill has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. This is a rapidly progressing neuromuscular disease that is quickly causing her to be incapacitated . There is no cure or even treatment. Terry is now her full-time caregiver.
Jill and Terry have been faithful servants of Jesus, doing the Lords work pastoring churches in Weston FL, Farmington Hills MI, and Anderson IN. They are people that have spent their lives giving and doing for others, never asking others to do for them.
Many have inquired about how they might be able to help. Bernards are incurring many medical expenses for equipment, wheelchair transportation, as well as some remodeling for wheelchair access in their home. Terry will soon require some other help with Jill’s care. I am starting this campaign to open an avenue for others to help financially with some of these costs. Prayers and cards have been so appreciated but giving to this lets them know that they are loved and that we are in this with them.
Please trust that these monies will go directly to them to use at their discretion for any needs that they might have. Please do not contact them directly as they are overwhelmed. Each day is a changing situation to tackle. Any amount would be immensely appreciated. We will be keeping you all updated via this site.
thanking you, in advance, from the bottom of my heart-Cindy Stamper
