Support Jiji's Dental Surgery for a Healthier Life

As many of you who know me have heard, I very suddenly lost my sister Courtney in March of this year. She was a talented artist who struggled a lot mentally with severe depression and anxiety. The one thing that kept her going was her beloved cat Jiji; who was her whole world. She didn't leave her house often, so she and Jiji spent the majority of their time together, her drawing while he napped beside her. She lost the fight with her depression, leaving behind loved ones and Jiji, who's been with her since he was a kitten. It was bittersweet to take him in after her sudden passing as I was there the day she got him when he was just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, while she loved him dearly, she was not in a financial position to always provide him with the best care and he did not visit the vet regularly.

Jiji is 12 years old and has severe dental issues. Both his canine teeth have broken off and may be infected. He is scheduled to get these teeth removed as we are sure they are causing discomfort and possible pain. He may need other teeth removed depending on what the X-rays reveal. Several other teeth look concerning as well but his canine teeth pose the biggest risk to his health.

The veterinarian unfortunately does not offer payment plans, and while I hate asking for help, I don't want to make him wait to get this much-needed surgery while I save up the money. The estimated cost of the surgery is from $2,777 - $3,471, depending on how long he is under anesthesia and how many teeth need to be extracted.

I would appreciate every dollar donated to help this sweet boy get the care he deserves. He is the calmest, gentlest cat, and the thought of him being in constant pain breaks my heart for him. He needs the surgery ASAP as he is an older boy and has a heart murmur that may prevent him from getting it in the future. He is scheduled to have his surgery on October 31st (Halloween).
