Support Jhaz Purchase an Instrument

Greetings! My name is Megan Delatour and I am this lovely student's orchestra director at TUHS. As a community, we are rallying together to support the purchase of a violin as her instrument was damaged beyond repair.

Jhazlyn is an extremely dedicated musician in her sophomore year of high school. She comes to school every day excited to play, getting ready for auditions and plays in ensembles outside of school as well. There is not a moment there isn't a smile on her face, which is why watching her crumble when her instrument broke was especially devasting and especially considering she almost got hurt in the process ( had almost fallen down the stairs). This happened in the middle of a concert and Jhazlyn wiped her tears, borrowed an instrument and continued to play despite what happened.

As a school, we knew we had to do something and wouldn't let her go without an instrument so we are fundraising to help support the purchase of a violin from luthier Lukas Wronski. Anything you can do to support is greatly appreciated and you get to see the smile on a young violinist's face.
