My name is Jhanelle and I was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica.

Everywhere I go, I meet someone who loves Jamaica for one reason or another. It really is a unique country with a strong population, but so many are currently struggling to get their most basic needs met. Hurricane Melissa devastated my home parish, Westmoreland.

I am trying to do my part in raising funds to ship basic supplies, including food, toiletries, baby formula, and clothes because my people are suffering. I am now a mom and I can't imagine not being able to care for my child. My heart is truly breaking seeing videos of families without food or shelter, especially those with young children.
