Hello! I'm a senior at John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, and my peers and I were inspired to create a dedicated prayer room after seeing students of different faiths finding spaces to pray wherever they could, whether it be hallways, empty classrooms, or quiet corners. We wanted to establish a proper, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable practicing their beliefs. This prayer room will be open to all who need a moment of prayer and peace.
