In October 2026, Jeyra Santiago received news that no one deserves to hear. At only 24 years old, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer that had spread to several spots throughout her body. Upon receiving this news, she was immediately admitted to the hospital to begin treatment and start her journey toward healing.

In just a matter of a few weeks, Jeyra's world has turned upside down. A 24-year-old woman who was simply trying to live her life and plan for her future is now facing a battle she never could have prepared for.

Anyone who has ever met Jeyra knows that she is a ray of sunshine and a beautiful young woman, both inside and out. While she focuses on starting treatment and preparing for the road ahead, the financial responsibilities of everyday life don’t simply disappear.

She has a long journey ahead, and deserves nothing but love and support as she and her family face this battle.

Who I am

My name is Alyssa Ross - my brother, Christopher Ross, is Jeyra's boyfriend and partner, and I am coordinating this GoFundMe on her and her family's behalf. Jeyra has become a beloved, extended part of our family, and I am organizing this fundraiser so she and her family can focus on healing instead of the financial burden associated with medical costs.
