Hi! I'm Jewel. Many of you probably know me as Beef Strokemoff. I'm a transmasc drag perfromer, artist, actor, and student. I've been on T for 3 years and in order for me to live comfortably in my body I am pursuing top surgery. I'm disabled and deal with a lot of chronic pain that makes binding regularly difficult, and my chest dysphoria is getting increasingly worse. I've gotten insurance approval for the procedure, with a surgery date set for January 31st, 2025. Unfortunately, while Insurance will cover a significant chunk of my surgery, I will still be left with an out of pocket cost of $3,600, and as I don't have a regular income source, this will saddle me with a significant amount of debt. I'm aiming to raise a little bit more to cover additional costs like anesthisiology and pathology, which will be billed later.
