Hope for Kaia & Jewel
Sometimes the ones who give the most are the ones who need help the hardest.
I’m starting this GoFundMe to support my dear friend Jewel and her service dog, Kaia Hope.
Kaia recently needed urgent veterinary care. She underwent surgery to remove a painful growth on her eyelid that was rubbing against her eye and causing bleeding. During the same visit, she also required a dental cleaning and the removal of three teeth. The total cost for this care was $575, along with additional veterinary expenses both before and after the procedure.
Over the past two years, Jewel has been walking through an incredibly difficult health journey of her own. She is currently carrying over $28,000 in medical bills and is still recovering from major neck surgery. In an effort to be a good steward of what God has provided, she recently downsized her home to reduce monthly expenses. Even so, she continues to make payments on medical-related loans while doing her best to stay afloat and heal.
Jewel works from home and shows up each day with faith, perseverance, and gratitude. She truly believes—and lives—that God is our Provider, even in seasons that feel especially heavy. Kaia is more than a pet; she is Jewel’s service dog, constant companion, and source of comfort, particularly during recovery. Caring for Kaia is an essential part of Jewel’s own well-being.
If you are able, a gift of any amount would help cover Kaia’s medical care and ease the financial burden as Jewel continues to heal.
This GoFundMe is being created with the belief that God often uses community as one of His greatest provisions. If you feel led to help—whether through a donation, prayers, encouragement, or simply sharing this fundraiser—it would be such a blessing. Every act of kindness matters and is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for being part of God’s hands and heart in this season.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory.”
