**Help Me Get Back to My Happy Place: A New Bike Rack for My Birthday and Support Local Trails**
Hi friends, family, and fellow biking enthusiasts!
As many of you know, mountain biking is my passion and my escape. It’s where I find joy, challenge myself, and connect with nature. Unfortunately, my trusty bike rack suffered a major setback. Someone hit my rack with their car while my car was parked and lied to insurance (claiming not at fault), damaging the frame and the tire cages. Though it held up for a while, it’s now become unreliable and nonfunctional. I can no longer safely transport my bikes, which puts a serious damper on my adventures.
With my birthday coming up, I’m hoping to replace my damaged rack with a 5-bike Velocirax. This rack would not only allow me to get back to the trails but also make it easier to share my love of biking with friends and mtb family. The Velocirax is known for its durability and ease of use—perfect for keeping my bikes (and my biking crew’s) secure and ready for the next ride.
The cost of the Velocirax is significant, and as much as I wish I could handle this on my own, I could really use some help to make it happen. That’s why I’m turning to this amazing community. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me and bring me closer to getting back to doing what I love most. Any extra support will be donated to support local trails in Santa Cruz area.
Your support would not only help me replace the bike rack but also bring back the confidence and safety of transporting my bikes on my solo adventures. Any money raised over the goal will be donated to Santa Cruz Mountains Trail Stewardship to help maintain our local trails. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for any help you’re able to give. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing this page would also mean a lot to me.
**25people giving $36 would help me reach my goal — equating to a bottle of wine or a single fitness class**
Cheers to making this birthday one to remember. Here’s to more rides, new trails, and sending it!
With gratitude and excitement,
