Hi everyone,

I’m writing today on behalf of someone incredibly special—our friend Jet (Steve) Jongewaard who is once again facing a battle no one should ever have to fight.

In 2022, Jet showed extraordinary strength and resilience when he overcame colon cancer. We celebrated his recovery, hopeful that chapter was behind him. But now, he’s been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia.

This time, the journey will be even tougher. Treatment requires a bone marrow transplant, intensive chemotherapy, and extended hospital stays. He and Melanie will be out of work for at least three months, and possibly more, as he fights for his life—again.

The financial toll of a diagnosis like this is staggering. While insurance helps, it doesn't cover everything—especially when someone is unable to work. We’re asking for your support to help cover:

Medical expenses not covered by insurance and costs related to the bone marrow transplant and recovery.
