My name is Ancelma Moreno, and I never really thought about being in this situation in which we find ourselves. My husband, Jesus Gallardo Juarez, unexpectedly, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, an infection that attacks the nervous system aggressively. In a couple of hours, he was paralyzed and left without strength from the neck down. Today, he is connected to a ventilator and being treated, in the hope that he will recover. But the problem is that this happened to us while on vacation in the state of Sinaloa, where we are originally from, and we are having a lot of expenses for medication and other things that he needs. He is hospitalized at the General Hospital of Culiacan.
Today, we need the financial support of our community in Lancaster, California, and around the world to help my family with medical expenses in these trying times. We are asking for any support in these difficult and painful times, no matter how much, every dollar makes a difference, or sharing so that it reaches more people would be of great help. Mi nombre es Ancelma Moreno, y la verdad nunca pensé llegar a esta situación en la que nos encontramos. Mi esposo, Jesus Gallardo Juarez, de forma inesperada, fue diagnosticado con el síndrome de Guillain-Barré, una infección que ataca el sistema nervioso de forma agresiva. En cuestión de horas, quedó paralizado y sin fuerzas del cuello para abajo. Hoy está conectado a un respirador y siendo tratado, con la esperanza de que se recupere. Pero el problema es que eso nos pasó estando de vacaciones en el estado de Sinaloa, de donde somos originarios, y estamos teniendo muchísimos gastos de medicamentos y otras cosas que él necesita. Está internado en el Hospital General de Culiacán.
Hoy necesitamos el apoyo económico de nuestra comunidad tanto en la ciudad de Lancaster, California, donde nosotros vivimos y por el momento estamos lejos de nuestro hogar, como de cualquier parte del mundo que quiera y pueda apoyarnos en estos momentos tan difíciles y dolorosos.
