Dear friends and family, on behalf of my sister Belkis and the rest of our family, we regret to share the news of Jesus Leal’s passing. Since November last year, he was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, and our lives have been shattered ever since. Despite his diagnosis, he fought valiantly until his very last breath, giving all his strength in battling this wicked illness.

Jesus was a humble and kind person. He was the greatest father to his three children and the most loyal and devoted husband to his wife. He was also the best and most generous brother to his siblings and the greatest, most reliable son a parent could ever have. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Everyone could always count on him for help, no matter what, even if he didn’t have the means. He always put others’ needs first. Truly, he had the most beautiful heart.

He leaves behind three children and his amazing wife, who fought tirelessly to get him the best care possible. She willingly and lovingly gave up everything to be his nurse and provide the best care for him 24/7 all the way through until his very last breath. All the energy, hard work, and sleepless nights she devoted to him did not go unnoticed. She never gave up on him, even when the doctors tried to convince her otherwise. She went above and beyond for him. The most beautiful act of love for a wife to display during their worst time together. We are all suffering during this tragic time, especially them. Please find it in your hearts to make the upcoming days easier for them. One less thing for them not to worry about, and carry this financial burden. Help them with the painful cost of funeral and burial services until he is finally laid to rest peacefully.

Queridos amigos y familiares, en nombre de mi hermana Belkis y del resto de nuestra familia, lamentamos compartir la noticia del fallecimiento de Jesús Leal. En noviembre del año pasado, le diagnosticaron cáncer de estómago en etapa 4, y nuestras vidas han quedado destrozadas desde entonces. A pesar de su diagnóstico, luchó con valentía hasta su último aliento, entregando todas sus fuerzas a esta terrible enfermedad.

Jesús fue una persona humilde y amable. Fue el mejor padre para sus tres hijos y el esposo más leal y devoto para su esposa. También fue el mejor y más generoso hermano para sus hermanos y el hijo más grande y confiable que un padre podría tener. Fue el mejor amigo que cualquiera podría desear. Todos siempre podían contar con su ayuda, sin importar lo que pasara, incluso si no tenía los medios. Siempre priorizaba las necesidades de los demás. Realmente, tenía un corazón maravilloso.

Deja atrás a tres hijos y a su maravillosa esposa, quien luchó incansablemente para brindarle la mejor atención posible. Ella, voluntaria y amorosamente, lo dejó todo para ser su enfermera y brindarle la mejor atención 24/7, hasta su último aliento. Toda la energía, el trabajo duro y las noches de insomnio que le dedicó no pasaron desapercibidos. Nunca se dio por vencida, ni siquiera cuando los médicos intentaron convencerla de lo contrario. Hizo todo lo posible por él. El acto de amor más hermoso que una esposa puede mostrar en el peor momento juntos. Todos estamos sufriendo en este momento trágico, especialmente ellos. Por favor, anímense a hacerles los próximos días más fáciles. Una cosa menos de la que preocuparse, y con esta carga financiera. Ayúdenlos con el doloroso costo del funeral y el entierro hasta que finalmente descanse en paz.
