back to the home to check on her things. That’s when reality hit. The home I grew up in was gone. The home she raised us in, gone. She showed up a little later, with my tia and reality hit her. Then, she asked me to check if her clothes in her closet were okay, so she can get out of her pajamas. Everything is gone. Everyone in the home was safe. Ultimately that’s all that matters.
