My friend Jesus is going through one of the hardest times of his life. He recently lost his husband, Jonas. On top of the heartbreak, Jesus is now facing the overwhelming responsibility of planning funeral services, something no one is ever really prepared for—emotionally or financially.

Jonas was such a special person—he had a gentle heart and always made people feel seen and cared for. He was the kind of friend who would drop everything to help someone else. He meant so much to so many people, and his absence is already deeply felt.

Jesus is about to start PA school, which is something he’s worked so hard for but the program is extremely demanding and is full time, leaving little to no room for him to work while he’s in school. Because of this, he doesn’t have the financial flexibility to cover these unexpected expenses. The costs for the funeral and memorial services are more than he can manage on his own right now.
