Hi! I’m Jess. I’m a single mom of 2 teenage boys. I’m also a personal trainer, coach, and instructor. I injured my hand last year training jiu-jitsu when my fingers were caught in a gi, and I dislocated my ring finger and tore some tendons, which didn’t need to be repaired but were very painful and took almost a year to heal. Turns out, a year later, I’m still in pain because one of the tendons created a cyst, which is now restricting movement, causing continued pain, and preventing me from grasping using my thumb.

They plan on going in on January 31st to remove the cyst and then send it out for biopsy. I do have insurance, BUT I have a high deductible of $6650, so basically nothing is covered.

For those of you that know me, know how hard it is for me to ask for help, but I need it. I need help to pay for my MRI and surgery.
