Support Jessi's Urgent Brain Surgery and Care

Hi, my name is Katiana and I am starting this go fund me for my sister in hopes that we can reach as many people as possible to donate even as little as $1. Four years ago my little sister Jessi was diagnosed with a brain tumor that our family had no idea had been affecting her since adolescence. Since her diagnosis she has seen countless doctors to keep the tumor growth and symptoms under control. Recently the tumor has gotten severely aggressive in a short amount of time and her quality of life has dwindled. Jessi and her family moved out of state before her tumor was aggressive and unfortunately was neglected by doctors in her state. Because of the neglect she went a year without treatment until she was finally able to get an appointment with an endocrinologist who had treated her previously and she has traveled for all appointments. Over the last year her headaches have been effecting her ability to care for her child, work, or do normal daily tasks. Recent MRI’s, CT scans, bloodwork and her team of endocrinologists and neurosurgeons have all come to the same conclusion, her tumor has grown in way that was unforeseen and into a part of her brain that is too risky to be able to remove it all. After much consideration and her limited options for treatment, it is best for her to move forward with brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as her neurosurgeons can and start radiation.

Insurance will not cover all of her surgery and treatment and all donations made will go directly to paying for all medical expenses to hopefully improve her quality of life. This tumor, along with radiation treatment will make it almost impossible for Jessica and her husband to grow their family but her team is staying hopeful that Jessi can have control of her life once again.
