Help Jessie Fight Cancer and Get to Treatment

Many of you know Jessie as a kind, hardworking, and generous man who has spent his whole life taking care of others. He is a proud father of 7 children and parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent. If you know him personally, you know that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and now he’s the one who needs our help.

Last year he fought and beat Stage 4 Colon cancer but over the Labor Day weekend, Jessie wasn’t feeling well and ended up in the ER. What he thought might be a kidney infection or kidney stones turned out to be devastating news: his cancer is back. It has spread to his spleen, liver, and peritoneal cavity.

The doctors here have told him that surgery is not an option and have recommended very aggressive chemotherapy every other week. However, there is still hope. MD Anderson in Houston, Texas, one of the leading cancer centers in the world, may be able to offer other options. Appointments are hard to get and are usually at least 3 months out but by the grace of God an appointment has been scheduled for Monday, September 22nd.

Travel expenses for the long trips to Houston

Medical costs

Living expenses during treatment, since working through such aggressive chemo is nearly impossible

Jessie has worked hard his entire life, providing for his family and giving selflessly to others. Now it’s our turn to give back to him. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward making sure he gets the care and chance he deserves.
