Hi . My name is Jessie Natkong. I was medivaced from Sitka to Anchorage ANMC with a bad infection in my tummy. Surgery was done to clean out infection and remove a fistula that was caused by infection. My tummy has been wide open n bandaid has been changed twice a day morning n night. Today a wound vac was put on to help heal my wound on tummy. Wound vac will be changed every 3 days. Surgeons said I’ll be here for weeks with this wound vac on my tummy.
