Hi everyone,
Sharing this is incredibly hard, but Jessie is about to face major surgery for a rare cancer diagnosis, and we need the support of our friends and community around us.
Jessie is being treated for Breast Implant–Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), a rare cancer linked to textured breast implants. In the coming weeks she will undergo surgery to remove both breast implants, surrounding tissue followed by time in hospital and a long recovery at home.
Jessie is a devoted mum to four beautiful children, including 3-year-old twins who still need to be carried, cuddled and comforted every day. Right now, Jessie can’t do that.
Life since this all began leaves Jessie in constant pain. Simple things like lifting her babies, holding them when they cry, or even playing on the floor feel impossible some days. As a mother, there is nothing more heartbreaking than not being able to physically be there for your children the way they need you.
If you know Jessie, you know she the one who is always there for others — the one who shows up, listens, helps, and puts everyone else first. Being kind, caring and present for the people she loves has always come naturally to her.
Jessie needs help to get through this, to once again be the strong, present mum her kids deserve.
While Jessie focuses on treatment and healing, she will be unable to work, placing real financial strain on our family. This page has been created to help with medical costs, recovery care, and supporting our household through the months ahead.
If you’re able to help in any way, we are truly grateful. If not, your kindness, prayers, and messages mean just as much.
Thank you for holding Jessie in your thoughts during this difficult time.
With love,
Kirt Jessie & family
