Hello everyone, my name is Farmer Girl Jessie. I’m a proud farmer, a student, and a future nurse. For years, I’ve worked hard to care for my 10-acre farm — growing food, tending to animals, and using the land to support my family and our community.

But over the past two years, my family and I have faced one hardship after another. From severe droughts that dried up our crops to Hurricanes that destroyed our property and equipment — it has been a constant battle just to stay afloat. Despite my best efforts and determination, the losses have been devastating.

We are incredibly grateful to be safe and alive, but the road to recovery feels overwhelming. The storms have left us with major damage to our home, the farm structures, and many of the tools and supplies we depend on. I am doing everything I can — studying to become a nurse, working long hours, and keeping faith — but we’ve reached a point where we truly need help.
