Hello…On behalf of the Sweetwater High School Class of 1980, we are organizing this

fundraiser on behalf of our classmate and friend, Jessie Atalig, who recently underwent a triple-

bypass heart surgery.

Jessie is currently recovering at home and as you can imagine his recovery will be a

long journey back to his former energetic and outgoing self. Thankfully, his surgery was

successful, and he is currently working closely with his doctors to

promote a successful recovery.

As many of you are aware, Jessie is the lead singer for the band R-Tyme. Jessie is an

outstanding performer and helped R-Tyme become a local, favorite band throughout

San Diego County. His talent, charm and charisma extend far beyond the band and has

since our days at SUHI. Jessie has always been a leader and willing to

help wherever he was needed. He has spent many selfless years caring for his

parents and other family members.

Thankfully, when Jessie noticed something was not right, he sought immediate medical

attention which likely saved his life. His life-saving surgery was unexpected and unplanned, and as

you can imagine the emotional, physical, and financial toll has been significant. Between medical bills, time off from work, follow-up treatments, physical therapy, and daily living expenses, the costs are quickly adding up.

Right now, we’re asking for support from family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers to

help ease the financial burden so Jessie can focus fully on healing.
