Support Jessica's Urgent Medical Recovery
Donation protected
Tragedy struck Jessica on the way to her 1st day of work to meet the parents and students at the local charter school and Boys and Girls club. She was in an accident on her E-Scooter and had to be taken to the ER via ambulance where she received medical care for her severe injuries.
Aside from the cuts, scrapes and concussion, she has a badly broken wrist and her front teeth are broken, jammed up into her pallete and upper mouth bone is fractured across, preventing her from both playing violin, or speaking clearly. We are trying to get into seeing a surgeon today for both and will know more soon about our options for what needs to be done, so we don't even know how much time or money this is going to take yet.
About Her: Jessica has been a concert violinst since the age of 10 and has devoted her life to it as well as teaching others to play, having just graduated school here in the US a few months ago at the age of 33 and getting ready to start a life here in the United States playing for Cheyenne and Fort Collins Orchestras, while teaching students in violin and voice locally and online, away from her home in Merida, Mexico where she was raised.
We are asking friends and family as well as the community to please come together for Jessica at this time with any donations you can to help cover her surgery, medical bills and cost of recovery while she cannot work this season playing and will probably be unable to teach for some time as well.
Thank you all for the love and support you have given her in her life and please know she loves you all very much.
Please feel free to reach out to her if you cannot help here and let her know you care! She is trying very hard to keep a positive attitude and could use all the love she can right now.
