Help Jessica Stay Safe and Secure Stable Housing

Jessica Clark is facing an urgent housing crisis and needs immediate help.

She has already been forced to leave an unhealthy and unsafe living situation and has been staying in hotels while trying to find stable housing. Unfortunately, in the San Francisco Bay Area, even the least expensive hotels cost far more than they do in most parts of the country, making this only a very temporary solution.

Housing is Jessica's most urgent and costly need. Without enough support to continue paying for temporary lodging while searching for something more permanent, she faces the very real possibility of homelessness.

Although she has received some limited assistance from local programs, it has not been enough to address her immediate housing needs. Homeless shelters in the Bay Area often have long waiting lists, and for someone living with chronic health issues, sleeping on the streets is simply not a safe option.

Jessica is disabled and continues to recover from a serious hip and leg surgery that did not go as planned. Because of her medical condition, she is unable to work, including remote work, and is currently applying for disability benefits. As many people know, the disability approval process can take months—or even longer—before any financial assistance becomes available.

To make matters even more difficult, Jessica's car has broken down and is currently unusable. It had at least provided a limited emergency backup option, but without repairs it can no longer serve that purpose. The lack of transportation has also made it much harder to have the vehicle inspected or repaired while she focuses on meeting her daily housing needs.

Right now, Jessica needs help with:

Temporary housing and hotel costs while searching for stable housing
Food and basic daily necessities
Transportation for medical appointments, essential errands, and housing searches
Assistance that will allow her to address her vehicle repairs when possible
Why Your Help Matters

Your donation provides more than financial assistance—it provides safety, stability, and hope during an extremely difficult time.

Your support will help Jessica:

Keep a safe place to stay while she searches for permanent housing.
Continue recovering from major surgery without the dangers of homelessness.
Meet basic daily needs, including food, transportation, and essential supplies.
Focus on obtaining long-term housing and disability benefits rather than simply surviving from day to day.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps relieve the overwhelming financial pressure of staying housed in one of the most expensive regions in the country.
