Hey everyone,

My name is Jessica Montes. I’m a 21 year old mother of a 1 year old little girl, Jena. I reside in Ponca City, Oklahoma with my daughter and my fiance Chase. I am unfortunately having to make this GoFundMe because on Monday, March 23rd, 2026 at 5:19pm- my whole world was turned upside down in a matter of seconds. I was involved in a terrible car accident on my back to Ponca from work in Tonkawa Oklahoma, on US Highway 60. Which has ultimately cost me my car, my arm and wrist/hand, my ability to go back to work for many weeks due to healing, and the ability to take care of my own small daughter on my own. From this accident, I have a broken arm(which I just had surgery for this morning), fractured wrist, many severe burns from the seatbelt that saved my life, and lots of severe bruising and cuts and strains. I’m in a huge amount of endless pain. I’m trying to be in good spirits but my car is going to be totaled and my fiances Tahoe broke down today on the way to get our daughter. I’m out of work, and my fiance is having to take care of our daughter, take care of me, work long hours during the day, find a babysitter for our daughter during that time and now has the burden of our now only vehicle breaking down. They say when it rains, it pours and right now I’m feeling that wrath. We are now trying to keep our heads above water while battling my recovery process, insurance claims, being car-less, on top of our normal life bills and expenses. I’m very thankful and blessed to be alive but I did not ask for this to happen to me. Accidents happen, and I’m grateful everyone involved is okay, but I was doing everything right and in a split second, my life was almost taken from me and now we’re left picking up the pieces. If anybody can find it in their hearts to help us through this very tough time, it would be greatly appreciated beyond words could express! I’m not the type of person to ever ask people for help. I have a great work ethic and love my job at Mediclaims Inc in Tonkawa and I work really hard for the things I have in my life and also for my babygirl. My parents always taught me to never rely on anyone else and it hurts me to even have to ask for help. Please do not feel like you have to donate but we would like to ask if you would share my story and help me get this out there.
