Please help support Jessica on the road to recovery after a tragic mass shooting
that happened on Thursday October 31st 2024 in downtown Orlando Florida,
killing two people and injuring six.
We are humbly reaching out today with heavy hearts to support a truly brave and
resilient person, our sweet Jessica.
In all the chaos of that night Jessica was tragically injured and suffered a serious
gunshot wound to her hand resulting in immediate surgery to reconstruct her
hand and remove the bullet. She has multiple broken bones, nerve damage and
torn tendons.Doctors have informed us that the damage to her hand is extensive, requiring
multiple surgeries, physical therapy and other specialized care to regain
functionality. The path to healing will be long, painful, and costly for her.
This dreadful incident has not only affected her physical abilities and her mental
state of mind, but also her livelihood, as she currently cannot work or attend her
college where she is studying to be a lawyer. She faces an uncertain future in
terms of her mobility, career, and quality of life.
We have set up this gofundme page to help with all the mounting medical and
living expenses that have incurred from this horrific tragedy.
We are hoping to ease the financial burden for Jessica so that she can focus on
the healing process. Every donation no matter how big or small will make a huge
difference in her life.
