Last year in April, my doctors discovered eight lesions on my liver, with the largest measuring 4.1 cm. By December, follow-up imaging showed that the number of lesions had increased to twelve, and the largest one had grown to 4.9 cm. My doctors recommended a biopsy to determine what was happening, and unfortunately, the results came back as abnormal and not benign. Just this past week, another MRI revealed that the largest lesion is now 5.4 cm, and another lesion that was previously 1.1 cm has grown to 3.1 cm. My surgical oncologists are now recommending a liver resection surgery, which will require me to be off work for at least eight weeks.
This news has been overwhelming and frightening. I am facing a long recovery, and the financial burden of medical bills and living expenses during this time is more than I can manage alone. The funds raised will help cover my essential expenses and medical costs while I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.
Any support, prayers, donations, or sharing of my story would mean the world to me. I am scared, but I know I am not alone. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
