On 2/27, I was in the emergency room for a suspected mini stroke or a rare type of migraine that mimics a stroke. I am not allowed to go back to work yet due to multiple neurological issues and no diagnoses for it yet.

I am experiencing financial hardship and in need of assistance towards rent/groceries due to being unable to go back to work right now.

I am a mama of two kids. I work as a juvenile corrections officer.

My doctor cannot clear me to return to work until neurology evaluates me and the soonest ASAP neurology appointment they could find is April 23rd. I am on a waitlist

I am concerned about what’s going to happen financially if this continues past 4 weeks as my FMLA runs out in 4 weeks. After April 6th I won’t have any income until cleared to go back to work. And we don’t know how long that will be.

I have done my due diligence looking for other resources. DSHS/Churches/St Vincent/salvation army, etc and unfortunately there aren’t any funds available at this time.

This was extremely hard for me to publicly post.
