Support Jessica’s Journey to Graduation
Donation protected
I am proud to come from a small, close-knit town in Georgia called Bethlehem. Moving to Washington, D.C. was a daunting leap— an enormous step toward my dreams. Becoming a Bison at Howard has quickly turned D.C. into my second home, filled with friends that are more like family.
My passion is to help lower income families through healthcare, specializing in nutrition, and I am committed to graduating on time and making a meaningful difference. Unfortunately, my university has refused my student loans, preventing me from registering for classes and securing housing until the outstanding balance is paid. This has stopped me from beginning my junior year.
I am reaching out with urgency and hope. With your generous support, you can help me clear this obstacle and finish my journey. I have been applying to scholarships and jobs but unfortunately it just isn’t enough. The only thing standing between me and my degree is this balance, and with your help, I can continue my path toward becoming a healthcare professional dedicated to empowering my community.
Please consider contributing to my story. You can turn my dreams into reality and create a future where I can serve, lead, and inspire others. Thank you for believing in me!
