Hello everyone,

I am starting this gofund me on behalf of my sister Jessica and brother in-law Ben. Jessica has remained very private with her ongoing health battle. She has been battling a chronic illness for over year now. Over the past year she has had numerous doctor’s appointments (including a trip to Mayo Clinic) and tests with no answers as to what is causing this chronic illness. Jessica has now developed new complications leaving her hospitalized for the foreseeable future. She has been at Kishwaukee Hospital for 13 days and she will be transferred to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Downtown Chicago for further testing. Depending what the tests show she will either remain downtown or be transferred back to Kishwaukee and remain hospitalized.

The financial strain of Jessica’s medical situation is overwhelming. The costs associated with her doctors appointments, tests and now hospital stay are significant and continue to rise. In addition to medical expenses, there are now going to be travel costs for Ben and our family as we strive to be by her side during this difficult time.

We have created this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that Jessica and our family are facing. Your generous donations will go directly towards covering medical bills, travel expenses, lodging, and food for Jessica’s husband and mother as they navigate this challenging period together.
