Support Jessica's Final Step in Transition

Hello babes,
My name is Jessica, I am 30 (at the time of posting) and I have been transitioning since 2021. It has changed my life for the better in almost every way.
A short background of my life: I first started getting feelings of wanting to be a girl at 6 years old, but I did not know the term transgender until I was around 16 years old. I tried to hide that part of myself away and I started to do as many "manly" things as I could. One of those things was to sign up for the Army while in high school. My best friend and I both signed up as infantry in 2013. I spent 6 years in the Army, going to places such as Hawaii, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand. While I was definitely using the Army as a hyper-masculine cover-up, I did really love being in. I got out in 2018 and that is when I started to socially transition. I came out to all of my friends and family. I was quite lucky that they were all accepting and loving and helped me in my new path in life.
Fast forward to now, I am living my life as genuinely as possible and I could not be happier... well, that's not true. There is still one thing left to do and that would be the big surgery! I just received today (3/27) that my surgery will be covered by insurance, I just have to cover the out-of-pocket cost ($8900). The rest of the goal is to cover travel and my bills for the month I will be out of work.
I have never done anything like this before, but I do want to let you know that you do not need to donate a lot; any amount is appreciated and welcome.
Thank you all so much and I look forward to the next chapter of my life being even more me than ever.
