Many of you know Jess from her more than ten years as a beloved bartender at Hops. She’s poured drinks, shared laughs, and has become like family to countless locals. Others know her from Morristown Memorial Hospital, where she has worked as a phlebotomist for many years. She’s known for being able to quickly and painlessly help patients facing difficult times.

Jess has always been the one helping others, whether it’s listening to a regular’s troubles after a long day or providing compassionate care to patients at the hospital. She embodies the spirit of Morristown: hardworking, kind, and deeply connected to her neighbors.

Some of you may have noticed Jess’ absence from Hops over the last couple of months. She has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that has had her in and out of the hospital several times. The diagnosis came suddenly and now Jess faces extensive medical expenses. On top of that, she is currently unable to work her usual hours, which has created a serious gap in covering rent, utilities, groceries, and other daily living costs.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards medical bills, treatments, housing, and living expenses, allowing Jess to focus on healing.
