Support Jessica's Fight Against AML

After not feeling well, Jessica had an appointment with her doctor. She had a check-up, bloodwork drawn, and was sent home. On July 28th Jessica received the results of the bloodwork and was sent by her doctor to the local Emergency Room. She was then transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for more specialized care. There she had a bone marrow biopsy as part of the process to figure out what was wrong. On July 30th results from the bone marrow biopsy were received, providing a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

This isn’t Jessica’s first cancer diagnosis. Jessica recently won her battle against Stage 4B Hodgkins Lymphoma. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, she was in full remission, and we were all so relieved and thankful. Our celebration was cut way too short and now we are back to finding ways to support and love this incredible woman as she battles a cancer diagnosis that unfortunately developed due to her previous cancer treatments. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a relentless blood cancer, but let’s be clear, Jessica is also relentless.

As Jessica braces for chemotherapy, and a hopeful stem cell or bone marrow transplant, the financial and emotional tolls are immense. This battle to recovery is a marathon not a sprint. We are reaching out to you, our extended family and friends, to help Jessica in her time of need.

Money raised will be going directly to Jessica and her partner David to ease the financial pressure due to loss of wages. It will be put towards any medical expenses and household bills during this extremely difficult time.
