Hi, my name is Jessica. Recently i was admitted to the UCSF neuro department due to having a grand mal seizure. Incase you're unaware of what that is, it is a very serious seizure in which causes you to go unconscious and have violent muscle contractions. I was found on my floor in my room seizing and unconscious. I am a single mother who also takes care of both my parents and im a care taker for adults with disabilities. I do not make enough money to pay for my bills on top of the medical bills i am already receiving plus post surgery physical and speech therapies. I will be having brain surgery friday the 14th of February at 7:30am. Post surgery i will be diagnosed with epilepsy. I am asking for all the help i can get from the community because i wont be able afford my rent and bills or care for my son.. my license was temporarily disabled due to this unfortunate circumstance. It would mean the world to me if you guys would take a few moments to come together to help raise money to reach my goal.. Even if its only 5-10 dollars. If everyone who saw this donated 5-10 dollars it could make a huge difference. For everything great you do it will make its way bacc to you 10 fold. I wont lie im very very scared. Not only for myself, but im scared for my son and im scared for my parents, friends and clients at work. I do my best to make a huge difference in this world so i hope you can find it within your hearts to help make a difference in mine. Ive never asked for help like this so it’s difficult. Im a very independent person so this is out of my comfort zone but i have to put my pride aside. I love you all and appreciate you all so much. To helping me reach my goal ✊ lets get it!

I made it out of surgery safely and unfortunately i am continuing to have seizures. I have to find a physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist in which my insurance doesn’t cover. If we can come together and make this happen i would be forever grateful.
