My name is Jessica. I am a 45 year old single co parent of two boys 9 and 15 years old. I have been diagnosed with a super rare form of cancer called dermatofibrosarcoma it typically has a 90percent survival rate, as far as then can see now my cancer has not spread and i will not require chemotherapy or radiation. I had one surgery to remove an orange size tumor from my lymph nodes, the surgery was unsuccessful and will have to be repeated in the same area, the surgery is more complex and with greater infection rate and greater risk to my vein structure. If this surgery is unsuccessful there will potentially be a 3rd surgery involved.
