Our good friend and AMAZING hygienist Jessica Rowlett has been fighting for her life with the COVID-19 virus. She was nearly 8 months pregnant when she was diagnosed, making her the first pregnant woman confirmed with the sickness in all of Davidson and Wilson counties. She has since undergone an emergency c-section to deliver her son at just 34 weeks. Thankfully the baby is healthy but must remain in the NICU for the coming weeks. Jessica is still currently in the ICU and on ECMO, which pumps oxygenated blood into her system due to low O2 levels. She is coherent and aware of the situation but is weak and can not stand on her own. Unfortunately she still has not been able to meet her new sweet boy, nor has her husband James. There will no doubt be astronomical hospital and medical bills that we can hopefully help with! ANY donation is appreciated!
