Metastatic Adenocarcinoma.
Jessica Speagle is 31 years young. Over the past few months, she has received life-changing news that she has breast cancer and it has moved to her spine, brain, bone marrow, and possibly her lungs. On Easter, Jessica was complaining of back pain that she had been having off and on. She would go to the doctor and they would tell her that it was a pulled muscle or constipation. After multiple trips, a doctor finally did a CT scan and MRI. It showed that there was definitely cancer in the spine, causing multiple fractures, and they knew it came from somewhere else. Since then, Jessica has gone through the ringer with so many tests and biopsies. Next week, she finally starts her journey to kick cancer's ass.
Jessica and Jeremy have a 7-year-old daughter. She works for Dryden Elementary. Physically, with the fractures and active cancer, she's not able to work or do much. Jeremy has to drive her from Attica to U of M in Ann Arbor consistently. With devastating diagnoses like this, bills pile up quickly and insurance doesn't cover everything. I wanted to make this to help my friends with the financial burden. Even if you are not in a position to donate, please pray and send this family all your well wishes.
