Support Jessica Hunt's Battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer

Hello, my name is Kim Frost. My sister Jessica Hunt was recently diagnosed with Grade 2 Neuroendocrine cancer (NET). This type of cancer is very rare but highly treatable. She will be having scans soon to see what the stage her cancer is and if it has spread anywhere else. She will be needing to be seen in Iowa City as well as appointments in Waterloo. Luckily, Iowa City has doctors that specialize in NET so we are very hopeful.

If you are lucky enough to know my sister you know her story which has not been an easy one. She is a single mom to three wonderful kids who works full time as well as a full time student. She recently started fresh with her and the kids after leaving a toxic relationship. We were all so hopeful that 2025 would be her year until this news. As of now we are unsure how much time she will need off of work and funds are already tight being a single income home. Jess has always wanted to be able to give her kids everything they want and need and we are hoping that will not change. She and all of us want the kids to have the same opportunities that anyone else would have at their age.

We are hopeful to raise money for her and her kids so that is one less stress that she has to worry about. Even if you are unable to donate we will take any and all positive thoughts and prayers for a clean bill of health after this bump in the road.
