On May 9th, our lives were forever changed by the tragic and heartbreaking loss of Jessica Henderson. Jessica was a loving daughter, sister and friend. She was beautiful soul whose life was taken far too soon in an act of domestic violence.

 Jessica was only 40 years old. She had recently shown incredible courage by reporting threats made against her after ending a relationship. Despite her efforts to seek protection and safety, this unimaginable tragedy still occurred. Her loss has left her family, friends, and community devastated.

 As her loved ones try to process this painful loss, we are asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden on Jessica’s family so they can focus on honoring her life and grieving together.

 Jessica’s family hopes her story also serves as a reminder of the very real dangers of domestic violence and the importance of taking warning signs seriously.
