Hey folks!

As many of you know I’ve been a professional touring and gigging musician for over a decade. I’ve mostly been singing and playing 30s swing jazz and keeping old music alive and well. Over the last 5 years I started writing an album of all original music leaning more towards my folk roots of Appalachia. Sharing this music has been a huge journey into a very vulnerable heart space for me. Some of these songs I was performing in The Barn Swallows and have a new life on this record.

Recently I’ve been chipping away at recording these songs to share with the world. As usual, I’m a fully self funded, independent, diy artist. For months I’ve saved every penny from my solo Jessica Fleet shows in hopes to be able to afford everything that goes into creating an album and paying the artists and musicians making it possible. With that being said, I’m very far from my goal of what I need to make this dream a reality and pay people fairly. I also have a dream of putting this album on my first ever vinyl! So I’m doing the thing I have been fighting with myself over and asking my community and friends to help chip in and support me in making this album come to life.

In the 10 plus years I’ve been a touring musician I’ve never asked for any help with any of the music that we’ve put out. This time is different, I have a baby on the way and financially I just have to humble myself and ask for the help. So if you have a few dollars to spare to help this mama to be artist out that would be so greatly appreciated and not overlooked.
