When we first started this GoFundMe, it was to support DJ and Jessica as they faced his transition to hospice care. Since then, many of you have generously donated, shared and sent love their way . We want to thank everyone who has supported this fundraiser. Your kindness, generosity, and love have meant so much during an unimaginably difficult time for Jessica and her family.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of DJ’s passing on May 5th. The road ahead is still filled with challenges – emotional, practical, and financial. Here at The Collective, we are rallying around one of our own — Jessica — as she and her family face an unimaginable battle. Jessica is not just an employee; she’s part of our family. Today, she needs our support more than ever.

Her husband, DJ, has been battling stage 4 cancer for 3 years. After a long and courageous fight, DJ has recently begun hospice care, and their family is navigating not only the emotional toll of this journey but also the financial strain.

Despite everything, Jessica has continued to show up for those around her — at work and at home. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
